Do you often hear your elders complain about things like
“oh where did I forget my keys“, “I can’t recall her name“, “my brain is getting dull with age
or other similar concerns?

Healthy Mind. Happy You.

“B. Neurofit” – a first of its kind initiative by Ms. Banika Ahuja is here to help you with just that.

B. Neurofit caters to the Cognitive Stimulation Training (CST) for individuals suffering from Dementia across different stages, as well as the elderly who have general ageing related memory and attention challenges.

Start early to make it an easier process for your brain to restructure its connections and strengthen your memory, attention, social engagement skills and spatial orientation.

What is the science behind this?

  • University College London (UCL) (2010) research reports that Cognitive Stimulation Training (CST) is the only non-pharmacological intervention currently recommended by experts in the field of ageing related cognitive concerns for maintenance and betterment of cognitive functions.
  • International research at renowned organisations like Alzheimer’s research U.K, suggest that regular, structured cognitive stimulation may help in generalised cognitive benefits for elders and even slow down the cognitive impairment associated with ageing related to attention, memory, communication, thinking, and low mood states.
  • Moreover, several researches like the ACTIVE study (2013) have also found that these benefits may last for between 1 to 5 to even 10 years.
  • There are no documented adverse effects associated with cognitive stimulation training.
  • CST based on neuroplasticity rests on the idea that the brain, even in old age, can change for the better by supporting the cognitive abilities – similar to how physical training improves one’s physical abilities (flexibility, bone and muscle strength).

It is like a personal gym to strategically activate your brain!

What to expect after the training?

  • The overall vision of the regular, consistent and repetitive Cognitive Stimulation Training (CST) is to support our elders to live as independent a life as possible, engage in socially meaningful ways, strengthen their resources ( like art, dance, writing etc), keep in touch with the world around them, have better daily functional ability and an overall quality of life.
  • We provide a stimulating, and fun interaction, an optimal learning environment and the social benefits of a group.
  • Through the sessions, some of the following improvements may be visible in the participants in terms of daily interactions at different levels of intensity and pace based on the individual concerns and differences.
